Regarding the facelessness of corporations. Obviously anyone can recall some incident when they dealt with a corporation that was an overall positive experience. That is not what the idea is. Everyone will at some point get the overwhelming feeling of being powerless in confrontation with some corporation. (Most likely your bank). Where you get nowhere even though you are certain you are right, and there is no person to be held responsible at the other end. This is what makes up the Facelessness. But this is a figurative expression. Dealing with a mom & pop 2-man shop is hardly representable for the state of the corporate world. They will most likely deal with you in a nice and fair manner due to the fact that they think it is in their best interest, and each time you deal with them, you deal with them and not some representative or lawyer\proxy. Larger corporations often find it is more economically viable to act more like "douche-bags", and prefer short term profit over long term. This is pretty explicit in the way a lot of large corporations act around the world.
Anyway, my point being, that if you go out and canvas the globe (the whole planet), I am fairly certain that an overwhelming majority of humans would describe corporations as not just faceless, but maybe even being detrimental to their lives ever so slightly, regardless of the positive experiences and "well intended" employees. So don't get your knickers in a twist over someone expressing a high degree of scepticism regarding corporations and their dealings.
