  • Vray And Combustion 3

    A few Questions:
    1. Can you use Vray with Combustion. What i mean is can you render out diffrent passes from vray Like you can with max's default scanline render I.E. ....Reflection pass, Diffuse Pass, Specular Pass,
    Shadow Pass, Depth Pass.
    2. I do only architectural work and would like to have a good compositing sofware so that i can composite live action into animations. Im thinking of getting combustion3 does any one out thier use it?
    3. Also would like to improve my photomontage abilities in regards to placing a 3d object into live action or a still image. Is combustion the right tool for this?
In responses would be nice Thanks !!!

I am prettty sure VRAY doesn't support the passes the Max renderer does.
Some one else correct me if I am wrong.
haven't used Combustion 3, but Combustion does what all the other apps do. it does have great support for max and it's tracking and color correction are top notch so it should suit what you want it to do.
    the parcticles are a blast!
Two heads are better than one ...
....but some head is better than none.....
