  • Lightmtl - Compensate camera exposure

I actually have not noticed this in the lightmtl before: "Compensate camera exposure "
It says in the manual - "when enabled the intensity of the light material will be adjusted to compensate the exposure correction from the VRayPhysicalCamera"

What does this excactly mean? How is it compensating?

it means that whatever the exposure you have, the map will render out the same intensity as what you have in your scene...
Otherwise, a white map could turn out black or way too over bright depending on the camera settings (f-stop, iso, etc).
That setting will link the map value from your material editor to your cameras.

However, if you are not using the exposure setting from the VrayCam, this doesn't change anything.
