  • How do you render a blowup in Vray?

I want to render a blowup of a region of an already rendered image. There is a "render region" option but no render "blow-up" option. How can I render a blow-up with
the same resolution of the original rendering?

sure there is, if you click the drop down of the render view under "area to render" there is a blow up option on the very bottom. Is that not what you want?

There is no "area to render" drop down on my frame buffer. If there is, then I am just and idiot. But don't see it...just the "render region" button. Click image for larger version

In the max render settings where you set the resolution.

before render region came to vray frame buffer, vray just used whatever 3ds max had for it. I think after max 2010 (though I might be wrong) they reworked the region rendering ui, it used to be in the main ui, but they moved it to the render frame window dialogue.
