DR question?

Hey guys i currently have a 2 computers and wanted to use my spare one to render also, do you have to have vray, and 3dsmax installed to use DR? because currently i dont and it says it cant connect. Thanks in advanced

yes you need max and vray installed on ALL machines that will render. On the nodes however you dont need a max license and you can just install max and leave it without activating it. During VRay install on the node just tick the "slave" option instead of the full workstation option

Also please note that you need to run a regular BB(BackBurner) job on the machines before utilize Distributed rendering.
