  • Reflective Caustics help!

    does anyone have a tutorial or a really good explanation of how to set up a scene for reflective caustics?
    I am looking to setup up a pool type siuation with caustics projecting onto a wall.

    If anyone can help it would be greatly appriciated

      i had a look flipside, but the only one i could find was for refractive caustics.

        Ah ok, didn't read your post good enough

        But in vray there is no distinction between refractive or reflective caustics, so if your refractive coustics work, tour reflective ones should work too.

        There has been a thread a while ago about the possibilty to control the two caustic types seperately. But currently vray treats them both the same time, so the only way to get more reflection caustics is to make your mat more reflective or use all kind of tricks with extra lights etc... find this thread for more info on this.
