Version 2.40.03 - safe to upgrade ?

hi all

I have been using 2.30.xx since it was out - I am using many plugins for Arch viz - Should I update to 2.40.03 or are there any issues with it ?
Also - any issues with DR ?

There are a couple of minor outstanding issues that we are working to resolve; one is that vrmesh files without extensions do not render (apparently users have this quite often, even though it's not strictly correct); and the other one is related to GPU rendering with multi/subobject materials.
