  • G-Buffer Probs - Image layer splits

    Hi

I been reading lots of topics and I just cant get my head around this problem. Ive attached a simple scene below.

    http://www.supercreative.co.uk/forum...ha_splitII.max

What I need to do is to render each object as a seperate layer/image

Ive tried VRay object properties & Matte object but this leaves me with a lot of photoshop work and it dosnt provide perfect anti alias edges.

Ive tried G-Buffer but cant get this to work can anyone provide a quick tut to show how this can be done?

    Thanks all!

    create masks!

you can set the all materials to mate except the object you create the mask.

render as tif ans you will get a nice mask in photoshop.

or set the object g buffer in object properties to a different number for each object and render it with af- export from af-video.com
