  • Background Color

    Hi All,

It there any way to omit the background color from lighting a render? Having it set to black gives me the results I want, but when changing it to white it adds unwanted illumination. I am going for a studio white set up.

    I would appreciated any suggestions.

    Thanks!

    Eric

Enable "GI Environment (skylight) override" and set it with a black color (http://www.spot3d.com/vray/help/200R...nvironment.htm)
This will override the white background color that you have set for a background.

That worked! Thank you...I noticed RT GPU doesn't support the V-Ray Environment overrides or am I missing something?

        Hi,

Environment overrides are not supported by RT/GPU yet.
        We are working on this.
