  • network rendering via back burner?

I am trying to network render via back burner but my render node gives error could not obtain licence. I installed the node as render node, not as workstation. Does it mean if I install vray as render node you must use DR mode then? Should have I installed node as workstation if I use back burner?

does it work if you use DR instead of backburner?
    Kind Regards,

Just tested and it does not work with DR either. Max opens and closes on node and then dummy flashes abit in tray bar.

Go to the Chaos Group folder in the start menu, on the rendernode. Run the Change VRay Client license settings. Make sure it is pointing to the computer with the VRay license installed on it.

The rendernodes will check to see if you have a license before they will render. That may be the problem.

As Donald2B mentioned, make sure that the nodes are looking on the main machine for licenses.
Also before start using DR you need to run one BB job.
