I'm having an issue with the prepass render. The two render nodes seem to work fine, but the host machine is creating dark buckets on the prepass, and then blotchy spots on the final render. This issue seems only specific to this particular image as I'm not having the issue with any of the other files I'm working on...

Hi,
The reasons for issues like this in most of the cases are missing external files or different Windows regional settings.
Make sure that all render nodes have an access to the textures and all external files (GI pre calculated files, .IES files) used in the scene.
Do you use "Check for missing maps" options for this scene?
Did you try to render the scene with regular override material?
I'm not having the issue with any of the other files I'm working on
