method for sparkly highlghts

Anyone know how best to achieve nice sparkly highlights in an animation, for example on halogen spot lights etc. Is there a specialist plugin that is compatible with vray?

You can do this with Lens Effects and/or Blur (depending on the effect you're after) in the Environment Rollout in MAX itself.

Should be able to do this with Lens Effects by using the Unclamped Colors option. To get it working with VRay you need to turn on the Unclamped color G-Buffer channel.
