  • Vray for max vs Vray for Cinima 4d

I am considering moving over to Cinema 4d. One of my only drawbacks are Vray. I see there is a version available but as I understand it, it is ported to Cinema 4d and not directly from Chaosgroup.
My question is, is it as good and reliable as for max?
I notice the version number is 1.6 where max is on 2.4
Does that mean it is a much older version or will I have the same tools as in max?

it is made by us. it has (yet) not all features as 3d max vray. it is quite younger.
the plugin numbering is not connected to the max or maya version. the used core is the vray sdk 2.35 atm, which is also used for maya.
you can email or phone us for more info

    best greetings

Stefan, thanks for the quick reply.
What mail address should I use? I sent a message via the link on your web (service@vrayforc4d.com) but nobody replied in the last 3 days?
