  • Disable the VFB from 3dsmaxcmd.exe command line?

Is it possible to disable the Virtual Frame Buffer from the 3cdsmaxcmd.exe command line? I would like to make sure it is not on when net rendering with Butterfly Net Render. So I would ideally like to add some switch to the command line.

    thoughts?

    Thanks.

Hi Joelaff, the 3dsmaxcmd.exe does not know anything about the VFB. We will try to make this work somehow.

That would be nice for TDs if there was some easy global way to disable the VFB at render time. I suppose it could be an environment variable. However, that is less than ideal as you would have to set it per machine (or have the render script set it).

      Thanks.
