3dsmax 2014 with V-Ray 1.5 - ok?

We're looking to upgrade our oldish 3dsmax versions from 2011 to 2014 this month. Is it advisable to use 3dsmax 2014 with V-Ray 1.5? Wouldn't there be any issues with Nitrous viewports or other things?

We were also thinking about upgrading V-Ray from 1.5 to latest 2.4 however we don't really see a reason for that since we feel that version 2.x is mostly focusing on GPU which we don't really use.

The V-Ray 1.5 version for 3ds Max 2013 should work in 3ds Max 2014, although we have not specifically tested it. Let us know if there are any issues.
