  • Specular Levels in Vray Adv.

This is probably a very basic question, so I will apoligise in advance if its too easy for some, but where is Specular level in the Vray materials? I'm trying to create a floor tile material, where the tile has high reflections and the grout lines have no reflection. In Max I would use a specular Level map to achive this. But Vray materials don't have a Specular Level. So how can I achive this effect and still use Vray Materials?

theres no specular faking in vray materials, cept to include it with a shellac material. Alot of us are hoping that it will be included in the future.

The glossiness value of the reflection controls the specular. Try using maps in the reflection and reflection glossiness slots to get the effect you want.
