When I set my V-Ray memory to 0, and auto, is this for all the machines? I have 32Gb on my main workstation, and 12Gb on 5 slaves. When I set V-Ray to something like 19Gb, my slaves max out on RAM, and never render. Now, if I set my V-Ray memory to something like 6Gb, my main workstation does the "Uploading Geometry, which takes forever. Will V-Ray memory o, and auto, is it a percent of each machine? I hope this is clear.

Yes. I guess the two are night tied together.
What's happening is, my slaves have 1/2 the RAM my main workstation has, so they are swapping to ROM. 45 minutes into this render and the slaves haven't engaged yet. When I look at the slave's task manager, they are at their RAM max.Originally posted by super gnu View Postif i understand correctly 0 is more like "unlimited" than "auto" but id like to be wrong...Bobby Parker
