Hi,

i need help with my hay roof as you can see in image c11 it's not perfect bet i'm getting there... using vray fur, the problem is in c13 as you can see i have 4 sides instead of 2... i need to have the same effect but after 1 week of trying all that i can remember i have given up... i just can get it to behave the same way... any suggestion would be very appreciated!

what does your underlying geometry look like?

On the 45 edge, it shouldnt be an edge, it should be a gently curve, Try chamfer that edge around 500mm with maybe 6 or 12 sections

I had already used the chamfer but i did't subdivide it that much... after a few tests the result is much better not what i'm aiming for ... but it does the job! thanks a lot!
