Stop and start VraySpawner on servers with powershell

Is there a way to do this, so I can start and stop the spawners from our server? At the moment we are not running the spawner as a service.

Yes it is possible to start/stop Vray-Spawners through powershell - let us know if you need any further assistance.

Ok good! How do you write it? Let's say I have a couple of rendernodes running the drspawner in the domain, and I want to shut them down.

me too, me too! we just kill and restart the whole windows when max is hanging via psshutdown. just killing/restarting spawner.exe would be wonderfull...

you can use pstools ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896649.aspx) from Microsoft for this. It also works with the standard command line and batch files.
