    Morning All

In VRay for Max 3.0, will the advent of the "universal rendernode" mean that there's no longer a requirement to install Max in trial mode on "unmanned" rendernodes? So, it'd be more like the current VRay for SketchUp standalone render slave installation?

    TIA
    William

Not so much that no, it just means a vray 3 rendernode license can work with vray for max, maya, softimage or whatever app you want to use it with. Currently your vray for max license can only render max scenes and nothing else, with the new license, a vray render node can do any of them.
