2 dongles 1 machine

Hi

I have a machine that has an academic dongle and I would likle to know if I can install the commercial Vray and use the commercial dongle on the same machine.
I have tried to install Vray but it makes me uninstall the previous version, hence wiping the academic off?

You can have the two dongles plugged into the same machine, no problem.

However, you can't have two versions of V-Ray installed for the same version of 3ds Max. You can do that for different 3ds Max versions though.

Many thanks Vlado, I will bear that in mind. I also am struggling to get the new dongle working, could not obtain license (-197) any ideas ? I have opened a ticket and about to send it to helpdesk but maybe you know ?
