  • Is it possible to permanently remove channels from an EXR2 file?

As per title, are there any tools to do this without requiring scripting knowledge?

Isn't it possible to remove channels in Nuke with Remove-node and then to re-save EXR file ?

I tried that but it's not doing it for me. I'm actually trying to rename some channels to remove a couple of spaces from the name. e.g. 'Glass_Dirt Mask'.

I just a simple test and I could confirm that Remove-node removes or keeps selected channels :

I'm note sure if Nuke allows changing channel's names but it is possible to create a new channel , set the proper name , copy the information from the old channel and remove it afterward.
