Hi All,
I know I am going to be OT but I'll try it anyway.
I really love what Vray is capable of with the vray lens effect. The result is amazing and I understand that it is a post effect because I can fine tune it without having to render again. In particular I refer to the glare and it's diffraction that creates star shaped highlights depending on the number of blades and camera settings. Anyway I get the best result when I render the same image with and without the effect and mask out the areas I don't like. Sometimes it is too easy to soften the image and it creates some noise and jagged edges....
I was wondering if anyone has been able to recreate the starry chromatic aberrated highlight in nuke.
I would love to be able to do it. I know how to create a bokeh controlled by the zdepth, and a glow but not those starry glare. Anyone can help?
Regards,
Giacomo.
