Ohh that.... ok. Humh interesting. I wonder now what could we do with vrayDirt include/exclude list and textures humh...

Ok here is one very simple example.
I have a light with a texture at the bottom and with Affect Reflection only - then from the Exclude List I select to exclude Sphere001 object and in the final render the texture is visible only in the Sphere002 object.

This is very interesting solution and it works very well according to my tests

how about applying the textures in vray light (plane/soft box) and include only this light reflection to affect the object selectively.

Probably quicker and safer and more convenient to simply render a pass with your reflections in the glass, then comp them in in post.

This is possible with the trace sets feature in V-Ray 3.0 beta, but we don't have anything in V-Ray 2.x unfortunately (except rendering two passes, of course).

Reflection only visible to selected objects?
I am doing arch exterior scene and I am using plane with background picture to cast reflections on the windows. How can I setup the background plane so it's only casting reflections on the windows. There's alot of other reflective surfaces that don't need the background plane reflection.Tags: None
