Hi,
I have some problem with VrayZdepth renderelement. I export in exr half rgb, and import render+zdepth in Nuke. Whatever I do, I can't get nice dof doing like this, especially where object overlapes and when object are on infinite (background).
I've trie filtered/unfiltered, exr 16/32, distance came or 0-1, invert or not, clamped or not etc. Sometimes aliasing on the edges are better but it make holes in the dof where objects overlaps, sometimes the dof is ok but all edges not overlaping any other geometry (on background) are all jaggy, etc.
So, is there a definite solution to get nice dof in post ? Without deep z as I'm using vray 2.40.04 (max 2014sp3, nuke6)
Any help would ... help !
