I kind of just deal with it, but why such a poor VFB image? It's a LC stage, and about 90% completed.

Can't say...never really noticed a difference except it just looks different during preview...I never really looked into it

It do changes distribution of particles and so on so do some tests...

The resolution is scaled down to 25% - it should look much better on 100% - this applies not only for the LC-pass the quality of the scaled down images is far from the quality of the full resolution, and it is not related only to VFB it is the same in photoshop for example.
