  • VRay Authorization Window for render slaves

We keep getting the pop up VRay Authorization Window for render slaves when max is loading after it restarts. This is not good since I'm almost sure that when a server is prompted for a job over the network it will hang because of this especially if Vray is NOT what you're rendering with. Do we need a seperate MAx installation for other plugins? ANyway to do away with that authorization window will MAx is starting up? Will this interfere with a network job?
    thanks

This will happen on an 'un-authorized' machine that is run interactively..

It will work fine when launched through network rendering..

Alas its not currently possible to have vray active only when net rendering because it uses files in the root of 3dsmax.. (Unless its possible to have them load silently and only trigger the Auth dialog when the vrenderXX.dlr is loaded Vlado?) Ideally you could just have 2 sets of plugin.ini files, one without Vray for interactive use(Or with VrayFree) that you can feed out to random architects, and one with VrayADV that is used for network rendering when you need to borrow some computer time.

    A suggestion/comment.
