i have problem with my grass i have got mesh (terain and street) - 2 IDs and i need use vray displacement for the grass....but the street should be without displacement. when i detached the street, the grass was higher then the street and there was a hole.....so how to do it?

i think this is probably similar to the 'floating carpet syndrome'
try putting a black border round the edge of your grass displacement map - 2 or 3 pixels should be enough...
there's a thread on this.
i'm sure you find it if you do a search for 'floating carpets'
