  • Opacity w/ alpha channel

I am trying to create a stenceled look on a wall using an opacity map. I refrenced Da Elf's Mask Map tutorial on Vray Info, and it not working for me. First I put the alpha channel under the refract slot, this woreked but gave me a grey color where should have been transparant. I then place the map under the relection slot as Da Elf suggests, and where it should have been transparernt It had a reflection instead.
It needs too be completly transparent. Any suggestions?

    TIA

Sorry I can't post images, I don't have any web space, by the way anybody know of good free web space service?

Nevermind I figured it out. I needed to check, affect shadows and affect alpha under the tranlucent rollout. works just fine
