I am just trying to learn photon mapping and I have got some nice results on a static camera, but I am trying to render a panoramic 360 and haveing a hard time.
I have tried two scenes, in one there is a slight difference in all the images which creates lines where the images are stitched and in the other one which is a bathroom, the view towards the window and the away from the window are fine, but the right and left side are way off. on one side there is mirror and it is all cartoon looking and strange refelection as if it were oil or water.
Can I use one photon map for the entire panorama? If so would it be best to render the first image away from the light source?
thanks
Michael
