as I suspected a bad thing I didn't opened it and deleted it.

yeah your probably right perhaps we should all mask our address's on all forums.
there is a program called email spider that will go through a site like this and follow links for you picking up email address, a friend of mine used it to contact architects and the like and he picked up over 20 thousand emails from this program .. so be warned

I have been spoofed in a lot of viruses and gotten a lot of them from my fellow CG artists :P, it seems bigger than this board though. Some of the email addresses involved had to come from other forums like cgarchitect, cgtalk etc.I would have to think that cg boards were targeted and farmed for their email lists.

I haven't been PM spammed on this forum yet, but my email problem is huge. I have a SpamAssassin filter on my email server, and currently on average 50%-55% of all mail is tagged as spam every day. Even with the filter a lot of them still get through, though they are a bit hard to read because of their evasive-spelling™ Can you spell V-ía*g-R_a?

haven't had any spam (email or PM) yet from this forum......we run a pritty tight filtering system at work so usually nothing gets through that shouldn't be there....but back when I had only my hotmail account..it was a whole different story.. :P

the only spam I get is from hot porn sites. Quite interesting for a few minutes, but it gets tedious after a bit.. I feel I have to examine afformentioned links before deleting
