Vray 3.0 Demo?

I bought Vray 3.0 yesterday but I will not use for now.(ITOO plugins are still in the works)
My problem is that I installed the DEMO for MAX DESIGN 2014 and it caused my Regular Vray 2.4 to not run on my 2012
(I am still using max design 2012 for production and 2014 is still not used)
Is there a way to install more than one version of Vray in the same Workstation? ( like maintain 2.4 for 2012 and vray 3.0 for the 2014 ?)

If I'm not wrong licensing has changed since 2.4. Which mean that when u upgraded ur dongle u changed ur licensing. Which mean that if you want to run 2.4 again you might need to redownload ur 2.4 builds from chaos or ask support to fix ur dongle... Yes you should be able to run 2.4 and 3.0 at the same time- not sure 100% tho...

thx but the problem is while running the demo which does not require the dongle (I know that when I will indeed install the full 3.0 I will have to recode the dongle.
I cannot run the demo without damaging the 2.4 install. and I would like to further test the demo before jumping to the full version.

No
I will not go through this just for the demo. It seems awkward to have so much trouble just for the sake of running a demo.
This is really strange.
Thanks anyway.3ds Max 2016/2021 (Vray 6.x), Windows 10 64bit , AMD 2990WX ThreadRipper 32/64 Cores, 128 gigs RAM , 2X RTX3090 48GB RAM

So what exactly happens? It gives an error or...?

I get a "Could not obtain a license (-200) "
in the autorization panel in the Render Settings UI (of MAX 2012)

1. If your license server is normally on the same machine, make sure that it is running. If not, run it from the Start menu > Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray for 3ds Max > Licensing > Launch V-Ray license server
2. If your license server is on another machine in the network, can you go to Start menu > Programs > Chaos Group > V-Ray for 3ds Max > Licensing > Administration > Change V-Ray client license settings and make sure that the correct address of the license server is entered there?
