  • Render Mask Output

    Hi guys,

At the moment on vray 2, I assign multimattes for objects that will usually need some tweaks (wood etc), this gives me a render element with a red/green/blue channel to work with in Ps/Ae as a mask.

Is this something that render masks in vray 3 can do? (output the mask as a separate element on render), or is it just for iterative changes in the vfb? Or is it just best sticking with the Multimattes?

    Thanks

    Hi,

The new render mask feature in V-Ray 3 allows you to specify one or more render regions, render only specific objects, e.t.c.
You can check a little video demo about this option here:
