Slightly OT: Online image management software

Can anyone suggest a piece of software or a plugin that will allow an online image management extranet site where clients can log in and view latest drafts etc and perhaps add comments or feedback?

I have scoured the net, but don't really know what terms to search for.

Cost, as ever, is an issue - I know we could have a bespoke site developed, but I feel this would be cost prohibitive. A simple 'off-the-shelf' product would probably be better.

you could try http://coppermine.sourceforge.net/

it's an online photo gallery.
it's pretty easy to set up and configure, it creates thumbnails automatically, it's got a good forum if you get stuck, and it's free!
