Like the effect the specular gives on the metal in the stills, but for the animation its flickering like a little light show, whats the best way to get rid of this with out turning spec of the lights?

Depends. If u are using GI and LC + glosy refl then its ur GI flickering and u need to sort out ur gi. If no then u need more aa/light samples. -
Always the problem with animations, still set the setting high and it all clears up, extra 10 - 20 mins on an animation and put that onto 1000 frames and you feel the heat!Comment

Depends what animation is it. Are there any moving objects? If its Still you can very easily render GI and save LOTS of time with correct settings...Comment
