thanks for the heads up. Surprisingly quick after SP4, didn't expect them to fix things in 2014 any more with 2015 around the corner. Sadly there's no mention of them fixing the shift-drag clonebug in the list of fixes. Would be nice if 2014 was fully functional.

I cant believe that bug exists still. Pretty poor performance on AD's part.

I think the shift-drag Cloning bug was fixed in SP4 actually.

Since the last releases take 30m or more to update, i start using the comand line to install.
After some tests, i got to install SP5 in 15s (SSD drive) instead of 30m, using a elevated command line.
Here what i used.
msiexec /update 3dsMax2014_SP5.msp /quiet /l* update_sp5.log

Am I right in presuming that if you delete the "/l* update_sp5.log" then it won't create a log file?
