thanks for the heads up. Surprisingly quick after SP4, didn't expect them to fix things in 2014 any more with 2015 around the corner. Sadly there's no mention of them fixing the shift-drag clonebug in the list of fixes. Would be nice if 2014 was fully functional.

I cant believe that bug exists still. Pretty poor performance on AD's part.

Wow. I can actually use a HDRI environment and see it in the viewports now in Nitrous.

I feel like we have rediscovered fire.

Since the last releases take 30m or more to update, i start using the comand line to install.
After some tests, i got to install SP5 in 15s (SSD drive) instead of 30m, using a elevated command line.

                Here what i used.
                msiexec /update 3dsMax2014_SP5.msp /quiet /l* update_sp5.log

                Best regards,
                Daniel

Superb - thank you! The update took less than 1 minute on my SSD. Must remember this for next time.

                          Buy this man a beer!
Am I right in presuming that if you delete the "/l* update_sp5.log" then it won't create a log file?

Send me the beer by email . Yes the "/* update_sp5.log" is not needed, is just for those who want to check what happened.

                            Best regards,
