    Wow wow wow, 6gb per gpu not tooo bad

    Ill consider GPU rendering when we get 24gb of ram on 1 gpu.

      this was long awaited . it will open up a lot of workflow bottleneck pipelines to RT ..... its a bargain compared to a CPU farm ... but as always money is relative to those who are spending it and their return on investment lol

        U can get 120ghz of rendering power for 3000$... its not such a good bargain tbh

                  What I don't get is that Titan Z seems to be a dual card with two Titan Black with 6GB each, but you could get three Titan Black for the same price?

                        yes , but the ram doesnt stack with multiple cards ...so the 3 titans will still be 6 gb of avail ram :-/ ... 12 gb will def be valuable to some.. hahaha

                          Actually it is the same thing. Titan Z will have 2 Kepler cores, each of them with 6GB (they don't stack either).
                          V-Ray fan.
                          Looking busy around GPUs ...

                            It's nuts, if at least they let one use Quadro drivers. Maybe it's the pleasure of being able to fit more cards that justify it for some.

                            And soon there will be an EVGA 780 with 6GB for $550.

                              Same goes for dual GPU cards unfortunately (as savage309 points out), but this may be changing in both cases soon from what I gather.
