  • Comprehensive list of VrayRT CPU and GPU supported features?

I'm just now wandering around in Vray 3.

My cursory look at the help file didn't find what I mentioned in the title: a list showing what is unsupported in VrayRT CPU and GPU.

I know CPU got beefed up a lot, but just want to know its limitations. And also what GPU lacks as well.

(Vlado - will VrayDirt make it into GPU at some point? Or are there insurmountable technical limitations?)

This type of topic has been going around for a while now.

Basically version 3 have those changes as far as I know.

Vray RT CPU = Production (90% should work just fine)
Vray RT GPU = as it was, still getting there and is lacking a lot of features comparing to latest RT CPU changes

We are working on a detailed list of supported/unsuppored features by RT CPU and GPU engines. Please check our documentation regularly for those updates.

It is not supported on both engines yet.

Would be nice, but not yet.

                Best regards,
                Vlado
