Is this still being developed? I see a version for MX 2013, but not 14. Do you just drop a dummy in your scene? Is it something I should be doing?

It's native now. There's a on/off checkbox with some other options in the settings tab > system rollout.

yes, but it is 2010-2013. I am on 2014.

The 2013 plugin will work in 3ds Max 2014 as well.

Okay, I got it. 2013 did work, I was just using the wrong one.

I got some VRay error, so I removed it for now. Is anyone really seeing a 30% increase in render times? Is it worth implementing? I know it is baked into 3.0, but I am on 2.4 for now.

Hi,

In case that your scene has a lot of dynamic geometry object, there will be no big speed boost with V-Ray Embree.

everything is static. Nothing moving and no proxies or xrefs.
