  • Possible to exclude elements from vray elements??

    Hello:
It's been a while that i tried to exclude some of the rendered elements only for the render elements calculations, is it possible? how?

In a practical case, if i have an exterior view of a facade made with a glass courting wall, in my elements i have vray relection, a dirt pass made with vray dirt in an extratex, a wire color element, a raw global illumination, etc.
What i want to achieve is to render the hole scene (with the courtain glass) but have some elements to ignore or exclude the courtain glass, for instance the Wirecolor, the RAWgi, the dirt pass.
The extratex has an exclude option, but it just output black for the excluded objects.

Any idea, or the only way is to make 2 renders, one with the glass and other without it.

    Many thanks
    Pablo

I think that this is not possible on a single pass. The calculation for RGB-pass and all render elements in the same, so there is no way to tell Vray to render two different states of the scene on a single pass.
