    Hi,

    one more question today

Is there a way for the vraydisplacement mod to be read by pflow? I am trying to place some small particles precisely on a displaced object surface. It works with 3dsmax displace modifier but not with vraydisplacementmod. pflow just place the particles on the base object not the displaced surface which cause some particle to be under the surface. And since I need ptex and vector displacement I can't use the 3ds max displacement.

    Hi,

Since the V-Ray displacement modifier is applied during the render time and doesn't affect the actual viewport model, the only way is to workaround it.
Try to recreate the displaced surface with more simple one and then use it as particle flow deflector, emitter object or any other nodes.

Ok. Would be great to be able to creat6e a vray node in pflow that would allow to read the surface at render time and place the particle at renderr time at the right place. I have hundreds of objects in my scene that I woold like to use as pflow position objects so to create a double of all these with a simpler displacement will get the scene more complicated and heavier.
