  • Backburner issue with render farm - only one machine is rendering instead of 3

    Hi guys,

I have an issue, with my small render farm.

I have three exactly the same render node machines. After installing Win 7, 3dmax 2012 and Vray 2.0 I simply cloned the whole disk to another 2 machines.
The problem is while I am rendering using Backburner. While in all 3 machines Backburner is running (as servers) I can see only 1 of them as active (in my Backburner Monitor). And only one of them is rendering! When the job is done then shows up info about error (attached file) and backburner "switches" to another node.

So the question is: what on earth should I do to convince all 3 render node machines to work simultaneously? (as they normally work)

In the General Settings for each backburner server, did you change the names and IPs after you cloned the 1st one?
    Kind Regards,

yes, Each machine has its own unique IP address and and name. And I changed also in backburner settings IP server for each machine so it matches with IP of the comp.

uuufff.. Finally found a solutiun: I edited each of the backburner.xml files and altered the MAC address so that it is unique, then restarted BB on each system.
