Networkrender lizenz-switch

I use networkrendering,
I think for this I need to install the m-Version, for the render-slaves?!

If I want to switch the 3dsmax-lizenz from the workstation to my laptop, do I need to install
both, m+r-version there? The normal use is as an render-slave.
