  • Modular Arts Shader

    Hello,

I need to make a shader like the one on the fireplace in the pic below. Does any one know how to approach this?...Or if there is anywhere I can find or purchase a similar texture.

I'm thinking this need to me modeled and baked into a displacement, but that would be very time consuming.

    appreciate any assistance.

    Thanks!

I tried modeling it. When you do a perspective crop on the reference image, you can make out a repeating in the waves.

I made this exact pattern years ago and made a displacement map out of it, but i dont have it handy. If its still needed i can dig it up.

I recently made a rougher version of the same thing:

if this works, theres a normal map in there that you can use

Awesome...if you can dig it up I would greatly appreciate it!

              Nice work!
