  • Animation whit progressive? is possible?

It is possible to make an animation with progressive sampler?

    Cheers

Yes it is. The same way you could have made it with RT in the past. Just set up time/noise limit and watch it render I suppose.

My question is regarding noise. This is unified in the whole? that the idea is that each frame has the same amount of noise (at least possible)

      cheers

Well it depend how you set up progressive sampler limits.

        You have 3 options.
        Max passes
        Max noise
        Max Time
Which ever hit the limit 1st thats the end of the render.

So if you want all the frames to look the same I would suggest to use Max noise. Just set up Time and passes to something like 99999 - I think if you set the time to 0 - it would mean its unlimited in terms of time.

I was wondering if anyone else would like to share their experiences with progressive render for animation.
          Is this commonly used?
          Thanks.

I use LC (single frame) and brute force for animation. As long as your doing sufficiently high quality there is no or very minimal flicker. (and it saves the hassle of pre passes and such)

The next SP should improve the quality of the light cache and reduce flickering even more.
