Does anyone have any good workflows/scripts to assign material ID's to every material in a scene? (for use with a VRayMtlID render element).
I believe Max only has a total of 16 material ID channels which is nowhere near enough. I found http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/sc...ectschannelset but it works on the Vraymtl's own ID channel (under the material's options rollout, can't recall the exact name) which some Vray shaders such as car paint don't have?
