well..I installed viz 2005, downloaded the newest version of vray for max6. Opened up a viz4 file, and rendered it. Of course this is only some standard rendering things, so there maybe some issues. But it seemed to work so far.
I'll do that as well in the next few days...let me know if you run into any issues.......I emailed vlado a couple days ago about vray and VIZ 5 compatibility...but haven't got any answer yet....
Just wait a while. It´s worth it, thats all i can say. But when i first tested Vray, a small scene some teecans, reflections, environementlight, it was stunning.
the new version will give a real boost.
so let them make the last work to realy make it stable, and to build in as many smal advantages as they can so far.
It will be a major release, worth the waiting, and could easyly have a two point five instead of one point five..
