  • Brighter Render if I Exclude object from a VrayLight

    Hi!
When I insert an object into the Exclude list of a VrayLight the whole render appears much brighter.. when I clear the VrayLight Exclude list the render whole render appears darker...
Is there a common reason for that?

The light is a Vray Mesh Light

    Thank you!

If you are excluding glass that is casting shadow and darkening light then its normal... Can you show an example? Is the object in the way of light?

Also the GI might not be bouncing off that object or something related.

Please provide a scene about the issue you are facing - it could be a normal behavior like Dariusz mentioned but it could be also a bug.

        Hi!

At this link you can download the scene (3dsmax 2015 + Vray 3.00.07)

The project is in progress, I hope you can help to understand.
        Thank you very much.

And also... why if I switch to Brute Force primary bounce instead of Irradiance Map, the final render appears a lot darker then before?

          Thanks!

Sorry, 'cause "Store with Irradiance Map" checked for lights.
