DR Wizard

I'm using the version of Vray, but it doesn't allow me to use the distributed rendering. I need the DR Wizard so I can set this up. Where Can I get this?

So if you're a Max 6 user you can't network render with Vray?! Why is Chaosgroup selling Vray to Max 6 users under the impression that you get distributed rendering like you do with max 4 and 5? Is Chaosgroup currently writing code for the DR Wizard for Max 6? When will it be available? What am I suppose to do until then? I bought Vray under the impression that I could network render NOW! Is anyone out there in this same situation?

You can through backburner or the max6 built-in DR

Hey smart guy (Dynedain) sorry if I came off a little strong earlier, just getting a little frustrated. Didn't realize you could do it through Max's net renderer. I tried it and it seems to be working. But I still think chaosgroup should let people know within there presells documentation that there is no DR for 6.

So thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

You could allways use V-Ray's DR in max 5 if you realy need it that bad.

There is a DR workaround for max6 involving a script that is included with max...do a search here in the forums for it

I for one lurked on the forums and tested the free and demo versions for quite a while before making the investment.
