I have a client that wants their copyright on all the work I do for them. I have never heard of this, have you? How do you give the architect or designer credit for their design? I mean, do I put the interior designers copyright, or how about the structural guy?

I don't think they want credit for their design. Something like this sounds more like they want to claim copyright over your images since it was commisioned, so they want to retain copyright, in which case it could spell issues for you in your own marketing

You should clarify with them what excactly it is they want and for what purpose

Thats fine. It probably just spares them from doing it themselves

They want the ones on my site watermarked. I said then I want my copyright on everything you do with them.

What I think they want to protect their images from somebody could take them from your webpage. Is very difficult to control that anyways.

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) would have been the right way to go and it is very common.

I'd have no problem doing this. they just want visitors to your site to see who designed the building.
every image we do we say who the architect and client was, there's no need to keep that secret. maybe come up with a new watermark template where in the bottom left corner you've got 'image by [your logo], architecture by [their logo]

I use Squarespace, so it made it pretty easy.
